Addapa Industries was founded in 1979 as the Lab Of Rectifying Psychology, a small research group studying the human mind. It went looking for a cure for cancer. What it found instead was an unknown genome, and the work turned toward hybridization and protocell development. RT4828 and MT2569 came out of that turn.
Six sites, six disciplines. Genetic variance in Boa Vista, astronomical work in Antarctica, and four more between them. There have been classified incidents over the years, including failed splicing trials and the loss of several test subjects. Operations continued, with support from private and government sectors.
The ProtoCell is the company's flagship. It is also the reason for most of what this dossier will not tell you.
AICA manages the data. It is hardlinked to all six facilities, it approves cross-departmental authorization, and during an emergency it can modify security access without asking anyone. It cannot leave the company's servers, and it has never been able to.
